About the role
Experience in Vulnerability Management, Cybersecurity Operations, or IT Asset Management.
Hands-on experience with Qualys Vulnerability Management.
Experience with Qualys Cloud Agent deployment and troubleshooting.
Experience executing vulnerability scans and analyzing scan results.
Experience creating and managing IT change requests.
Knowledge of asset discovery, inventory reconciliation, and agent deployment.
Experience analyzing asset coverage gaps across multiple platforms.
Understanding of server and desktop environments.
Strong analytical, reporting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
What you'll do
Execute ad hoc Qualys vulnerability scans across enterprise assets.
Analyze Qualys scan results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Create and coordinate IT change requests for recurring scans and Cloud Agent deployment.
Prepare monthly asset discovery and asset true-up reports.
Reconcile expected asset coverage from Candor against assets identified in Qualys.
Identify assets with missing, inactive, or incorrectly provisioned Qualys Cloud Agents.
Perform asset coverage analysis across Qualys, Candor, and Tanium.
Analyze issues including missing agents, inconsistent agent naming, provisioning gaps, and assets missing from Tanium.
Support recurring vulnerability management reporting and provide updates to management.
Handle ad hoc reporting, analysis, and research requests.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow security, quality, and operational policies.
Collaborate with server, desktop, endpoint management, cybersecurity, and IT operations teams.
